What an AMAZING performance you gave on Friday, to say I  was proud is a HUGE understatement! STARS!!! If there were Oscars for school performances, you would ALL have received one! The conversations, volume, timing and singing, all wonderful, better than I could have hoped for, well done!

Please remember to check to see if any of your parents took videos (as I forgot! I am SO disappointed)

All those performing on Tuesday evening, please practise your Spanish conversations over the weekend. We have our final rehearsal on  Monday (31st March). Please make sure you have your costume, which you will then take home and bring on Tuesday evening.

You need to arrive at Greenbank no later than 5.30pm and get your parents to leave you in the Hall, where I will meet you so that we can have a quick walk on stage.

Our ‘Green Room’ for changing and leaving drinks in etc is Room 5. Our Language Leader’s are called Abbie and Dawn. They will show you where to be at all times. After the performance you will return to Room 5 to change/ collect your things etc Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Davies will be in there. (Remind me to take a photo of you all before you change out of your costumes!) Then we will go back to the. Hall so you can meet up with your parents.

The performance will start promptly at 6pm. We are on stage last. You will sit and watch all the schools perform.

We need to learn a song for the finale, I will try to remember to post the words tomorrow, the tune is by Tony Christie, I think: ‘Is this the way to Amarillo?’ Try to find it on Google and have a quick listen, as we will have to reposition you all on Monday, so we won’t have much time!

Your parents don’t need tickets, apparently, as there will be plenty of room.

Anything else you need to know?

Hopefully you all got the message today that the dress rehearsal date at Greenbank has changed ( thank you to all who volunteered to give lifts etc so we could get there!) Unfortunately, this being the second time the date has changed, I can’t rearrange things in order to be able to go, so would it be possible for the children to be dropped off at Greenbank at 5.30pm on the night of the performance, Tuesday 1st April, and then they will have chance to have a quick look at the stage, and maybe walk across, it before they perform?

Don’t worry if this is a big problem, I am sure they will cope, but if it is possible, great!

Apologies for keeping you all waiting this evening, time ran away with us, we shall try to be more prompt next week.

Oh, and a quick reminder, I have to let Greenbank know ticket numbers tomorrow, so if anyone has not yet sent back the reply slip, please could you do so in the morning, thanks.
